Celebrity doppelgängers are a total thing on TikTok right now – and the latest lookalike is of divisive character Love Quinn from creepy Netflix drama You.
If you’re unfamiliar, we’ve previously seen Pheobe Dynevor’s twin, Jennifer Aniston’s double and Amanda Seyfried’s seemingly long-lost sister, and Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were among the first to be blessed with TikTok doppelgängers.
Now, TikTok creator Raegan Van Duyne has racked up millions of views for her impressions of You‘s Love Quinn, played on the show by Victoria Pedretti. And we have to say, the facial expressions are near-on perfect.
Raegan, who is a college student, certainly has the look of Love, too, with the same doe eyes and facial structure – but most viewers agreed that it’s her acting skills that makes the clips uncanny.
In one video, in which she narrates one of Joe’s characteristic “Hello, you,” lines – which has nearly 8 million likes, and counting – her mannerisms are exactly like Love’s.
“It’s the top lip dramatically over the bottom lip, dead eyes, mouth quiver,” one fan commented,” with another replying: “The lip raise, the hair behind the ears, the saliva strings, droopy eyes… SPOT ON LMFAO.”
Other TikTok users have also told Raegan that she looks like Maddy Ziegler, Greta Thunberg and – as a slightly more niche suggestion – Ross’ much younger girlfriend, Elizabeth Stevens, from season 6 of Friends. We see it!
It seems that she could have a very successful TikTok doppelgänger career going forward – if such a thing exists.
And if her Victoria Pedretti impressions have got you hankering after You season four, it’s already confirmed that the series will be returning to Netflix – though there’s been no release date as yet.
What do we know so far? Not much, although we can probably safely assume that Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe.
Other than that, fans have also got a theory that Ellie (played by Jenna Ortega) from season two could also make an appearance in season four of You. The theory is that Joe and Ellie will bump into each other in Paris, which is where Joe seemed to be heading at the end of season three, and where Ellie could potentially be in culinary school.
We’ll have to wait and see, but until then, there’s plenty of addictive TikTok videos to scroll through…
