Restaurant chain Chiquito launches new vegan handbag

Mexican restaurant brand Chiquito is going from kitchen to catwalk this January, with the launch of its first-ever fashion accessory, ‘The Chiquito’ handbag.

Designed to raise awareness and funds for Veganuary (an annual challenge that encourages people to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January), the limited edition petite bag takes inspiration from what the restaurant chain calls one of the world’s most talked about handbags of 2021, the Jacquemus ‘Le Chiquito Moyen’.

Made from vegan leather, the small top-handled purse comes in vivid blue and radiant yellow, reflecting two of the Pantone Colour Institute’s top ten standout colours for the season – ‘Spun Sugar’ and ‘Daffodil’ – and can be worn over the shoulder using its matching yellow shoulder strap.

Available now via an online silent auction throughout January, the winning bidders will be notified in February, and sent their exclusive fashion accessory in a dust bag along with an official card showcasing the bag’s limited-edition production number.
