Netflix’s You Season 4 Is Now In Production, Here’s What We Know

If you still haven’t recovered from season three of You, it’s time to pull yourself together because filming is well and truly underway for Netflix‘s You season 4 – and now, we have a brand new BTS snap giving us a glimpse of what to expect.

In the photo, Joe can be seen kissing a new character named Kate, played by Call The Midwife star Charlotte Ritchie. Back in March, Deadline reported that she has joined the cast as ‘smart, independent, suspicious’ art gallery director Kate, who is majorly distrustful of Penn Badgley’s Joe. Ooh.

Sera has also spoken about her excitement for the fourth season. “Reading Caroline’s novel, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view,” she said in a statement (via Variety). “And it’s been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy-yet-compelling life.

“We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past three seasons. The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season four.

Here’s everything we know so far about You season 4 – spoilers from past series ahead!

Who will be in You season 4?

As predicted, Penn Badgley is back to play the ever-creepy Joe. And now, it’s been confirmed that he’ll be joined by Charlotte Ritchie as Kate. Other characters Deadline mentions include a ‘Lady Pheobe’ (are we getting British vibes, here?) and a party boy named Malcolm, but there’s no casting news as to who will play them yet.
