K-Pop group ITZY announced as new brand ambassadors for Charles & Keith – LDNFASHION

K-Pop group ITZY have been named as global brand ambassadors for Singapore-based footwear and accessories label Charles & Keith.

The group, made up of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, will front the brand’s upcoming autumn 2022 campaign, showcasing the new Lulu patent bags and shoes in a series of ads that celebrate “freedom and authenticity” – much like the themes of independence and self-love that run through their lyrics.

Commenting on becoming Charles & Keith ambassadors, the quintet say in a joint statement: “It’s an honour to be introduced as the new global brand ambassadors of Charles & Keith! We’re so excited for this new relationship as we’ll be able to show our unique chemistry, and the many new sides of ITZY with the brand.”

With Charles & Keith co-founder Keith Wong adding: “We could not be more thrilled to have ITZY join the Charles & Keith family as the newest face of our brand. As the voice of a new generation, the ITZY girls aren’t afraid to be true to themselves, and that’s what makes them the perfect addition to our family.”

Since bursting onto the music scene back in 2019, ITZY have become beacons of “pop culture, social media sensations and arbiters of fashion”. Famous for hits including ‘In The Morning’ and ‘ICY’, the group scored one of the biggest Billboard debuts for a new K-pop act when their track ‘DALLA DALLA’ hit #2 on the US World chart.

The groups campaign is set to go live on August 16th, alongside the launch of the brand’s new autumn collection.
