Hyatt Place London City East Brings Street Art Inside – PAUSE Online

Recently opened, only a few steps from Aldgate East Station, Hyatt Place London City East is the hotel at the centre of East London which celebrates the artist’s that occupy the city’s streets.

A number of London-based street artists were commissioned to decorate the inside of the space, making it rich with one-of-one art pieces. On arrival, guests are welcomed by two abstract-style murals by Brixton-based abstract artist Olly Fathers and met by further art pieces by people such as Jay Kaes and Lothar Götz around the space.

While the vibrancy of London can be found inside the hotel, it also offers stunning views of the English capital city. Thirteen of the bedrooms across the top two floors come with their own private outdoor terraces or balconies while the skyline bar and terrace offer incredible views which are met with a gin-led cocktail bar. Meanwhile, the lower ground floor will cater for your dining needs in the form of Zoom, an urban restaurant created by Head Chef Norber Olah who focuses on using responsibly-sourced ingredients.

In a statement, general manager Michael Mason-Shaw said that, “From London’s newest rooftop bar to rooms that capitalise on our central location and uninterrupted views, and from our stylish public spaces to bespoke art pieces, we’ve designed every aspect of Hyatt Place London City East to reflect this incredibly diverse and culturally-rich part of London. And, with so many attractions on our doorstep, it’s a privilege to be a new member of this community.”
