Game in Style With The Places + Faces and X-Box Collaboration – PAUSE Online

London-based streetwear label Places + Faces has launched a surprising move into the world of gaming through a collaboration with the gaming powerhouse Xbox.

Doing what it does best, the brand has created a range of accessories and apparel alongside an Xbox Wireless Controller that comes in an orange and red gradient design, a reference to the brand’s heritage in film photography and the colours found in a light leak. With white branding on the top of the controller, its D-Pad is also in a contrasting white colour to highlight its resemblance to the Places+Faces Logo.

Featuring talent such as the artist Slawn and the music producer Kelvin Krash in the lookbook, the collection sees both brand’s combine their logos. On the back of a black hoodie, the X-Box logo can be found with clouds spilling out of it and on the back of a white t-shirt the Places + Faces logo is given a pair of legs, presenting its penchant for creating playful iconography.

Speaking on the collection in a statement, Places+Faces co-founder Ciesay says that, “We’ve been fans of Xbox since we owned our first Xbox back in 2002. We wanted to create something special and exclusively designed around the controller. We wanted to create something that inspires both of our communities; a true collaboration between our brands.”
