Fashion-first launches globally on NET-A-PORTER with Kimeze – LDNFASHION


Kimeze has partnered with NET-A-PORTER to create a collection of glasses and sunglasses. Consisting of 9 handcrafted unisex frames, the range has been designed specifically for Black and Brown facial features.

After making the shocking discovery that many optical accessories are designed solely for Caucasian facial features, Kimeze sets out to rectify the exclusion and gap within the fashion industry. Sisters Clare and Christina Kimeze created their London-based brand to give POC more choice when shopping for eyewear.

Designed to be “fashion forward, chic and universally flattering”, all the Kimeze glasses are made using nose bridge, temple length and angle measurements suited for a wide range of facial dimensions.

Marked as a ‘New Name to Know’ by NET-A-PORTER, Kimeze offers a new perspective on luxury eyewear. Inspired by London and Africa, the collection combines craft with forward-thinking design, and represents true progression for the optical industry.
