Spotlighting the label’s pending autumn/winter 2021 tailoring offering, Parisian based Casablanca recently debuted their latest campaign for the season which centres around tailored garments in particular.
Inspired by the opulence and glamour of Monte-Carlo’s casinos and the apparel of choice of gamblers, tycoons, and race drivers alike; the series of shots highlight key garments and details from the release including the integration of playing card motifs, and diamond-shaped buttons throughout the drop. Speaking on its release, brand founder Charaf Tajer commented:
“Tailoring for us is extremely important. Part of our creative process has always been to take classic elements of fashion and applying our modern take on them. For us, the challenge and pleasure of making a suit is bringing it into the modern world through the lens of Casablanca. Shooting this campaign in a building designed by architect Carlo Scarpa was a dream come true, the way he took an impossible, almost untouchable city and left a modern imprint is comparative to the way we design.”
