Aurora Jade (or @aurora.tattooz on TikTok) has blown our minds with a video of herself pulling off Hepburn’s truly identical poses, right down to her sleek pixie-esque haircut and smoothed fringe.
Holding her own version of the Oscar figurine, Aurora aligns herself *exactly* with the black and white photos of Hepburn on the night of the Academy Awards in 1954 when she won the Best Actress accolade for her performance in Roman Holiday.
She manages to absolutely pinpoint Hepburn’s iconic eyeliner flick and her sultry smiles and upward glances. We are in awe.
Fans and TikTok users have gone mad over the true likeness between Aurora and Audrey. “I thought it was the same person,” one commented, while another added “u were definitely her in a past life”. And honestly, we cannot help but agree.
Audrey Hepburn is making an exciting return to the big screen, as well as TikTok videos. Hollywood star Rooney Mara is set to play the legendary actress in a biopic exploring Hepburn’s early life and giving us a deep look into what it was like to be the star at the height of her fame.
Anything but ordinary, Hepburn was born in Brussels and lived in the Netherlands during the WW2 German occupation. She worked as a ballet dancer in Amsterdam before becoming a chorus girl in London’s West End. Her life was clearly meant for the screens.
The film will be made by Apple Studios, and directed by Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino. Excitingly, Rooney is also set to produce. There aren’t many details yet on who else will join her in the cast, but we hope that’ll come soon.
Until then, we’ll just be watching Aurora’s amazing impersonations on loop!
